I'm so excited, like when I played my first Twine game, which I found somewhere on an indie blog. Indie authors are so inventive sometimes. This is a fairly short game, there is a couple of interesting things in it. It's a bit surreal, a bit horroristic, and has elements of a detecitve story. The title "Death of rhe Author" was Roland Barthes' invention, but it give opportunity to the writer - Jon Madge - to play a literally game, where the author is really, physically dead. We are in a house of this author, and has to survive the adventure among danger, modernist poems, and plums. Yes, plums, there are many in the story. I think I will read the poems once more, because I had very few time to them. Oh, the writer of the game has mentioned in his blog, there is a book about the story or the poems or both. The game was a very positive experience how to make a short game exciting.
